We offer EPC programming service with Decathlon's RFID labelling requirements, with the electronic product code encoded in SGTIN-96 format, GS1 compliant.
Decathlon began using RFID technology in 2009, applying an RFID tag to all shelf products in its stores. This made it possible to improve logistics, managing inventory very efficiently, but also to improve the user experience, thanks to the checkouts equipped with RFID readers, which allows a much quicker checkout than the previous one.
RFID tags for products intended for Decathlon must have the EPC memory programmed with the electronic product code in compliance with GS1 standards, in SGTIN-96 format.
The required tags must be of the UHF type, with EPC memory of at least 96 bits, compliant with Class 1 Gen 2. In case of doubts, we are ready to assist you in choosing the product.
