Confidex Ironside Micro NFC SLIX2 with Background Adhesive

The Confidex Ironside Micro™ NFC Tag is a reinforced industrial tag with reduced dimensions. It is designed to withstand shocks, moisture and chemicals. It can be applied on any surface, even metal, using the central hole or the adhesive on the back (optional).

Chemical resistance

No physical or performance modification in:

• 168 hours of exposure to engine oil
• 168 hours of exposure to salt water (10% salinity)
• 5 hours exposure to sulfuric acid (10%, pH 2)
• 1 hour of exposure to NaOH (10%, pH 13)

Acetone should be avoided.

Installation instructions

Ironside Micro NFC can be applied with different fixing methods:

• 3M adhesive
• Fixed with M3 screws or nails
• Fixed with cable tie (maximum width 3mm)

When mounting the Tag with the adhesive, clean and dry the surface to get the maximum bond strength.

The ideal application temperature goes from +21°C to +38°C, the bond strength can be improved with a constant application pressure and a moderate heating from +38°C to +54°C.
