An RFID reader is a radio frequency transmitter and receiver. UHF RFID Readers operate at frequencies between 860 and 960 MHz, and are capable of reading and writing information on an RFID Tag. Fixed RFID Readers are the best performing ones, to which different RFID antennas can usually be applied.
