Confidex Ironside Plate U8

The main features of the Confidex Ironside Plate include an aluminum casing with anti-corrosion coating and a stainless steel backside, making it more robust than other industrial RFID Tags.

Like other products in the Ironside family, its IP68 degree of protection ensures reliable operation even outdoors and in hostile environments. Thanks also to NXP UCODE 8 chip, this Tag can be read from a distance of up to ten meters on metal and up to seven meters on plastic surfaces.

For visual identification, the laser engraving of the Ironside Plate ensures that it can be read by the human eye even in difficult conditions. This laser engraving process, in fact, provides a great improvement over the visual marking quality of standard tags.

Chemical resistance

No physical or performance changes after exposure to:

• 168 hours of exposure to engine oil
• 24 hours of exposure to salt water (10% salinity)
• 10 minutes of exposure to sulfuric acid (10%, pH 2)
• 10 minutes of NaOH exposure (10%, pH 13)

Environmental resistance

• Peak temperature: 130°C for 10 minutes
• Operating temperature: from -35°C to + 85°C
• Storage temperature: from -35°C to + 85°C
